Is there really no credit card required for the free trial?

Correct. Sign up, use Primary for 7 days, decide. We send a reminder on day 5. If you don't add a card, your account quietly downgrades to read-only — no surprise charges, no awkward emails.

How does the annual discount work?

Annual is exactly 10× monthly = 2 months free (16.7% savings). Charged once a year. Switch back to monthly anytime, prorated.

Can I switch plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Upgrade is immediate with prorated billing. Downgrade takes effect at the next billing date so you keep what you're paying for. We never delete your data on downgrade — anything over your new plan's limit becomes read-only until you prune it or upgrade again.

What if I hit a monthly limit before the month ends?

We notify you at 80% of any limit so you have warning. At 100%, that specific feature pauses (you'll get a one-click upgrade prompt that prorates the difference). No surprise overage charges, ever.

Do unused messages or browser runs roll over?

No — limits reset at the start of each billing period. We tuned the numbers so a heavy user never feels squeezed; if you're hitting limits constantly, you'd genuinely benefit from the next tier.

Can I cancel anytime?

In one click, no email exchange. Access continues until the end of your paid period. Data is retained for 30 days after cancel (in case you change your mind), then archived for 60 more days, then deleted unless you reactivate.
